I had some scrap left from a jewelry box I’m making. I decided to not let it go to waste. A simple project but it turned out well. It’s walnut and tulip wood with three coats of clear. I put green felt on the bottom to protect the desk. I plan to turn a tulip wood pen to go with it. My wife is going to give it to a friend as a gift.

Very nice, simple. Should be a great gift.
