I had collected a bunch of black walnut cut offs over the years, and decided to mill them down and glue up the top. I drew out some shapes and came up with the base. I had some flooring left over to make the stools. I planed off the kerfs on the bottom side and did some glue ups for the legs and stretchers. Thanks for looking.

That is simply gorgeous work! The concept, design and finished product are exceptional. That’s is something the grandkids will fight over one day.

Wow. I like the ornate-ness of the shapes at the ends of each piece which are in contrast to the simplicity of the form and joinery. Kudos on the stools too.

Great design, great eye candy, and great use of leftover materials. Super build.
