I bought a home years ago. The previous owner left a number of boards. I’ve dragged them around and needing something to make this gift I grabbed one. I actually had to ask about the wood type. The grain is very dramatic . It tricks the eye as the wood actually looks wavy like it would have highs and lows if you ran your hand over it, when of course it’s actual
