Same piece as a previous project, of 4mm Wenge formerly laminated to 3mm of ply,
same crack unfortunately, but that’s real wood isnt it.
(as mentioned in the prev project, the crack was next-to-invisible during a drought,
but then it rained)
This time with “queen ebony” box-sides, and trims of both of those, also some
light jacaranda. Also a little walnut or black wattle in there too.
Only the mix of woods is interesting, other than that it’s a plain ole box.

Very elegant and stately box.
Great use for a cracked Wenge. Interesting wood choices, you must be Australian. Its great for a “plain ole box”.
