I went with this design because i felt like it would be the roomiest and being 6”1’ i have plenty of room to sit up in there. The wooden part is made out of 2 pieces of 3/4 inch plywood and 1 of half inch and finished with 2 coats of polyacrilic. It did only take me 2 weekends to build, however i was working some pretty long hours to do so. I would be happy to send anyone information or measurements if they would like to do the same. there is also a more detailed video on my you tube channel

Hey that’s pretty cool.
I like that the bed stows up out of the way so you can still haul junk.
