I have never tried to make box joints. I watched a few videos on You Tube on how to make a box joint jig and how to use it. The box went well thank to some good teaching videos.
You Tube is a woodworkers best friend.
The box is 14” x 7” and is Spalted Maple and Walnut.

Pretty nice, I found buying the Forrest Finger Joint Set really improves the joints!

Cool little box, I love spalted maple, especially if it’s wormy. Looks great!

-- some day I hope to have enough clamps to need a clamp cart!

Perfect.

Nice build, great to learn a new skill. That Maple top, and front wood is almost evil. It has some contrary looking grain, tiger stripes, and some spalt. Almost a perfect board for a top. :-)

+1 on Youtube.

Nice box. I bought the Ibox, and Freud Box joint blades.
