I just completed this truck, I seen so many of you doing these toys I thought I would give it a try. I must say it was a challenge. It’s all made from cutoff’s I had left over from other projects. The body is Maple, the fenders and running boards are Cherry. The frame, bed floor and bed trim is wood from the old trim in my house. I don’t know what it is but I used it because I didn’t think I had enough Maple and Cherry to complete it. The plans were from Toy’s & Joy’s, and were very detailed. The only thing I purchased was the cable for the winch, which I found in the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby. The finish is Danish oil and wax. This will not be the last one I build, I have my eye on others plans.
