This is my submission to the #Rocklerdeskchallenge. The desk is made white oak; the top being solid 6/4 white oak and the carcasses made of 3/4” white oak ply. The drawer fronts and door are 1/2” white oak ply edge banded and covered with white oak pieces in a mosaic pattern. The right tower showcases a kinetic folding door for little more pizazz.
.
.
.
The top measures in at 66”x25” and has slots cut in for grommets for cord management. The desk is 30” tall.
.
.
.
The entire desk was finished with a coat of Odie’s Oil and was buffed out to desired sheen.
.
.
.
The full build can be seen in my Youtube video.

Very unique and eye catching. First time I have seen or heard of a kinetic door design. Enjoyed watching and learning from your video.
Well done sir!
