Maple and Walnut is one of my favorite combinations. They are usually a fair price wood. How long did you have to wait between your first coat of Linseed Oil? Nice Job by the way!

I used Sam maloofs recipe with Japan drier to speed it up the drying usually about 4 hours to next coat at least six coats for the top
