1- Was a Sabre folding knife in really bad shape I did not take before pictures (BAD TONY) But i was not even sure i could rebuild this thing the evaporust ate the bolster away almost completely
2- Was a smaller swiss army knife i just pops the scales off (pretty easy) and then shaped new ones out of sycamore same as the saber
3- Was a grease box as i seen him favorite one but never seen one in his projects so i hope he enjoys it every time he uses it and welcome to the club Dave P.
4- Dave is working on setting up a forge and as you know by know he has quite the book collection so i helped to add to his collection i hope he likes the book (look at his pictures as i didnt take them of book)

Tony, that is a wonderful set. As I said, that swiss army knife would be my daily carrier! Thanks for taking part!

Thanks again, Tony! It’s a GR8 set from a GR8 buddy, and I’m using the Sabre pretty regularly around the house, the Swiss Army knife is in the truck for next time we have a picnic (probably not until spring, but warm days in the winter are possible here), the grease box is full of soft wax, the jellies all taste GR8, and the book has been added to the to-read stack for when I need a day off from the shop. You sir, are a prince among men!

Fine looking knife Tony, Dave should be well pleased. Of course those jellies will get their fair share of attention too.

That is a wonderful collection of goodies for Dave! You put a lot of thought into personalizing the added bonuses. I see he has already dipped into the jellies :)

I never would have thought the knives were refurbished and not brand new. The sycamore really pops.
I have a little chunk of oak that is patiently waiting to be made into a grease box. Looks like yours is walnut?
Good looking knives and grease box.
