My first try at the 3D cutting board. Found some great instructions through this site (thanks my fellow posters!). As all have stated previously, accuracy of the cuts and angles is critical to avoid gaps. Mine is far from perfect, but I am pleased with the results. Main field is cherry, walnut, hard maple. Bloodwood and bubinga(?) binding. Soaked in mineral oil, then finished with 8:1 mix mineral oil/bees wax.
