I needed a spare bedroom and decided to make something that fit will with my beer kegerator and glasses display. Thus this idea for a Murphy bed. Not my first project, but probably my best so far.
Not sure why, but the photo upload is turning the full size picture sideways.
Updated with a few better photos of process and finished product

Nice. So the doors are just for looks on the bed bottom?

Yes, the handles on the top are for pulling it down. The rest of the hardware is for visual.
Got the idea from an ice box being used in the Heinholds First Chance/Last Chance Saloon in SanFran. They replaced their doors with glass and use it to store glasses now, but was the original ice box for the bar. About the same size.
Trying to get better photos, but the room is small and hard to get far enough back from it.
