I have a stack of ipe balusters that use to be on a deck that I upgraded. I decided to repurpose some of the balusters by making picture frames. This wood is very hard and eats up tools so I kept the profile simple. All the work was done using my radial arm saw.

I also made a video that shows the details of how I made them: https://youtu.be/svkrA0oBpNc

Great job on the frames. I’ve been requested to make some of different sizes for Christmas gifts by the boss, ( wife ). At least she didn’t wait until the last minute this year. Mel
