3 Vise Rack Stops You Can Make

1) Wedge Stop—Cut a wedge and a matching dado on a block. Lock the wedge in the dado. The wedge is now the rack stop while the block keeps the stop on the vise jaws.

In use:

2) Magnetic Stop—Same idea as (1) except magnets instead of a dado are used to keep the block and wedge together.

3) Card Stop—The simplest to make: Drill a hole on a stack of cards and bolt everything together.

In use:

Sorry for being so dense but I can/t see how to use your second device.
Please post a pic of it in use backing the camera off far enough to give a clear illustration.
