This learning/activity tower project has been incredibly rewarding to build for my grandkids. And now for some of the young families I work with.

It all started when my son (pictured) asked me if I would build one for my grandson. Of course the answer was yes before I even saw the plans. As it turns out it is a very easy project and I built the first one out of scraps in my shop. Painted it white lacquer to make it easy to clean at the request of my daughter-in-law. The other stained model pictured is one I built for my other son/grandson. I used poplar and had some challenges with staining, but my grandson loved it just the same.

I get real enjoyment seeing the children using these. They seem to take to them like ducks to water. The parents love them because the kids are safe and able top be alongside them at the counter.

I upgraded the hardware to furniture hardware bolts and inserts. Makes it easy if you want to ship it and then assemble it later. Or you can glue and bolt etc. Your choice.

Hope you find it useful and get the same feelings I get seeing the children in them.

These are the best projects we get to build, and the ones used most often. My granddaughter loves hers, as well as my daughter because of the safety. Well done.
