Wood Coasters with Epoxy Resin

Just starting to learn how to work with epoxy resin and beginning to incorporate them into some simple woodworking projects.

Here are some pictures of my first attempts with it. Lots to learn as always.

These don’t take too long too make and I think they are going to be great Christmas Presents!

yep, resin can be a lot of fun – good looking coasters

Those look really nice. I like the contrast of the resin and the dark walnut.

I love the way you got the swirl of white in the blue resin…. it really looks like moving turbulent water/

Real nice looking coasters. I love the epoxy accent. Next you’ll have to try glow in the dark powder for your epoxy!!
