These look great. If I was a big old fish, I would bite the shit out of these. Just say’en.

Beautiful lures. I am an avid fisherman and have paid large sums for lures that don’t look that good. If they work as good as they look, should be a lot of action on the water in the future. Excellent job !! Mel

Great job on these. Did you use an airbrush? What did you use for a clear coat?

These are my first batch of lures. In addition to some hand carving, I am learning to airbrush.
It is somewhat of a science to coordinate the shape, weight, and line tie/hook locations with in exact science results.

Clear coat: Since these are my fist batch, I used what I have on hand (trying save $). It is Ureathane (for outdoor furniture). I don’t recommend it. There are other clear others lure maker recommends (epoxy, uv clear coat and KBS). These other finish are kind of pricy but I’ll have to try it next time.
