My wife likes lighthouses so I built this segmented turning for our Florida home. It has an oak base with maple blocks and walnut trim. The glass is a old baby food jar.

Pretty piece. Attractive and functional. The baby food jar is a cool idea.

That’s an original idea. Nicely done.

Looks very nice, great job.
With a baby food jar I know it’s small, but what is the total height of the light house?

That is a good height in relationship to the glass, it would make a nice night lite in a bedroom.
Or even on top of stair post out on the deck, with a modification to handel the elements. Thanks for the ideas.

Definitely one of a kind! You did a great job on your lighthouse. I have to add it to my favorites.
