This section of Red Cedar has been drying for quite a while in the shop (.over a year) so finally decided to make it into a small table for the right place once finished.

Much sanding and little chisel work to get the final smooth edges. The stump top was leveled out with my belt sanders was used to get as level as possible. Overall width of top is around 12” x 20” with height of about 22”.

The Entire top and on the sides with Total Boat epoxy, top was actually done twice.

Hoping it will last for few years to come.

Last picture is before finish

Beautiful looking, and the top coating really makes the colors stand out. Looks like it would be a bear to move, just how much do you think it weighs. Excellent job !!! Mel

Great looking table to make full use of the “stump”...

Even though its cedar, bet you’re not gonna get too many offers to ”Pull that table over here for a quick game of cards.”

Thanks – Being cedar a lighter wood it is not uncomfortable to move but not something I would want to do often haha . I would say it weighs less than 40 pounds
