My daughter has a 3 month old German Shepard puppy that has grown so much he needed his bowls up off the floor. So Dad called to the rescue, some leftover pine and some reasonable 3/4 inch ply. Used water based poly on the unit as I could get several coats quickly applied.
Daughter likes it, dog likes it, so job well done. Once gets to his Expected 80lbs size I will get some nice white oak and build Koda a nice feeder stand.
Added the current 80lb version of our house alarm system, and still loving his feeder.

Good job. As far as the oak upgrade in the future, the dog does not care about the wood only whats in the bowls.
Ours gets slobbered on, water splashes etc. Two big dogs here, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 100lbs, Lab, 60 lbs.
Treat the dog with the love and care they give back in greater measure.
Thanks for reminding me of my own dogs needs.

LOL! my Daughter has asked for the same thing, 6 month old Chocolate Lab.
Your design is little fancier then mine, I just angle the legs about 5 degrees with a slight flare to the front.

Nice stand. I do believe a picture of the puppy is required for this type of project. ;)
And, hope the pup doesn’t decide to use it for teething like mine did!!! Here’s my post on that topic!!

Oh, they grow up too fast. Cute pup!! My husband and I have had German Shepherds for about 25 years – right now have a 4 year old and a 15 month old. Thanks for sharing the picture.Have your say...
