My neighbor Liz requested a solid table that will not flex when she uses her leather working tools. Specifically it was not needed to be pretty wood just functional. Liz provided the dimensions, and asked for it to be nice and flat on top.

The top is 2ft x 4ft, and 32 inches high. I laminated 3/4 MDF and 3/4 plywood wrapped in straight grain pine. Legs and apron are clear pine with supporting cross members for stability. I put a couple coats of poly on the top to limit staining and stress tested with my cute granddaughter.

She just loves the table and could not be happier, it’s not my prettiest project, but it certainly is satisfying to help out a neighbor.

Don’t know what Medford is but that is a work table anyone would appreciate receiving from their generous woodworker friend. That little girl is a peach!

Smart looking table. I like that leg style and have used it several times.
