I’ve made a few tenon jigs. They were the type that slid on the table saw fence. They were OK but I wanted something better, easier to adjust and solid.
I searched a fair number of designs on Youtube. This one, by Stumpy Nubs stood out. I just finished building it and tested it. I believe it will be just what I was looking for.
The only change I made was to cut a groove in the base for the guide to make it more solid.

Thanks for posting 227... I never deliberately tennon on the tablesaw any more, even though I have a bought jig hidden somewhere in the workshop.

However, that stumpy link, but moreso his video, is a must see even for people that have this topic alternatively covered.
At least for me, his threaded rod indexing concept is one neat idea.

I’m sure that jig will serve you a treat… until you get a Domino (wink, wink)... just kidding ‘bout the Domino.

To make one of these for oversized pieces that need to be cut. I’ll add this one to my next session during cooler weather. Thanks for the hand-on review…

I’m glad this has been recognized. Stumpy Nubs should be recognized as an excellent DIY shop tool designer. I hope other Jocks check out his web site and see what’s available.
I know this sounds like an ad for Stumpy Nubs but I have no affiliation with him. I have made several shop tools based on his plans, they are inexpensive and well thought out.
