I use to have a saying my favorite thing to build is anything I have never built before. Then my mother in law asked for a pantry. Lol. There are alot of thing I wanted to do different but she wanted it as simple as possible. So no trim no beauty panels. Came out alright but it could of been better.

Looks good. For structural reasons I wouldn’t have passed up on a bottom panel but if you say it works fine the way it is, then I will believe you.
Well done.

It’s over built due to her not wanting a bottom. The back and is 3/4” ply and the sides are 2 layers of 3/4 ply. Each shelf is screwed in on 3 sides. It’s pretty solid but I can definitely see the concerns. Ty

Great looking project and it is just what she wanted. Remember the old saying, ” If Mama isn’t happy, nobody is happy ”. Mel

That is a well built pantry. I don’t understand not have a toe kick. (I guess that is what she wanted)

That would be on me. Never occurred to me to put in a toe kick. Not sure why I would but this is my 1st cabinet build so I am probably wrong not doing it.

Have your say...
