What a beautiful Shuffleboard Table! Who wouldn’t love to have this awesome table. The top sines like a mirror so nice! Love the history of the Ash slab also. Great work.
Love the game…. I need one… do I dare to try and make one! Only In my dreams!

That’s one of the coolest things I have seen on here. How in the world did you come to secure this piece of wood?

Thanks Tony ~ A project you should definitely do!! The satisfaction received with every one I’ve completed is well worth the time and effort. Hit me up when you decide to start or looking for some pointers.

The funny thing is I’m a firm believer in FATE! So after the wife of a MLB World Series champion contacted me and we were discussing the possibilities with what she wanted to surprise her husband with ~ I started sourcing live edge ash (My plan was – if I could pull it off: have her send me 2 of the bats used in that series (which she did obviously) & rip them down to utilize them into the top rails at each end of the cabinet. *SIDE NOTE: on one of the bats can be seen the ball marks which happened to be used for one of the games winning home runs!

Just happened to stop by one of my local harwdwood suppliers and we were discussing some ash. He said he just happened to have some 12/4 live edge ash ~ the kicker was it was more expensive than walnut!! (so that kinda scared me tbh since I had already quoted the price to my client.
After him telling me why and having the certificate of authenticity available, told him to go ahead & ship it to me. Found out there were only 4 slabs left so I ordered all 4!

The weeks and weeks of legal with MLB & getting permission to use each of the logos from each of the teams he played for was well worth it but almost fell thru because of their liability insurance requirements. I carry a 2M policy anyway but they require a specific 3M policy and I’d have to carry it for as long as the table existed because of the 5 team logos used. Anyway, they found out I was a wounded Vet & after seeing some of my other pieces, they send me the rights and waived ALL FEES!! So MLB & NHL are all about supporting us!

Thx for the comment & interest ~ hope it adds a bit to it ;-)

That is exceptional!
I love the live edge and the MBL logos make it look professional.

One of my life long friends used to have a shuffle board game in his basement and we spent many happy hours playing that game but that was many decades ago!

So cool, my grandfather had one in his basement that he bought from a bar. He had 60 grandchildren so you know it got good use. Brings back alot of fond memories.
