This is the second Little Library I have been asked to build. The Little Free Library is made of scraps I had around the shop. Sides, back, and roof are 3/4” inch plywood. The roof is cedar shingles ripped to 2 1/2”. The door is 3/4 Cherry, with most of the trim different thickness of poplar. The door window has 1/8” polycarbonate in it. I use a deep red dye stain and then covered with two coats of Lacquer. I put rare earth magnets in the doors to hold them closed. The post bracket was made from pressure treat 4×4 and 2×6 lumber.

I love these “little library” projects. This one is very well done. Congratulations.
