I have not been turning because of a heart problem. I have had sever PVCs and had to wear a heart monitor for 30 days. Things are better now so I went back to the lathe.

Here is one of my latest turnings. It is Madrone turned wet partially dried in the microwave and then air dry. Stands 6 inches tall, 7 inches long and 5 inches wide. That gives you an idea of the movement in this piece. It is burl and straight grain. Weighs in at 3.0 ounces.

Those legs look pretty cool. I like this one and your mequite burl piece quite a bit.

Great you are recovering!

Nice piece!, Daddy long legs is a nice description, I’d add: “after meeting me with my plasma rifle in the hallway last night” 8^)
