This is a barn quilt I made for my father. First attempt at such a thing as this. It was fun apart from trying to install it drilling in concrete twelve feet up on a ladder.

That is cool. Is it 3 dimensional or is is flat and color shaded to look that way?

Jim…It is just painted that way. It is just one-dimensional. The edges are actually made of teak that has been painted, but the edge pieces are a bit raised to create a bit of a frame from the field of the piece.

Nice work. What type of paints did you use? Ive done a couple of them and it’s a blast seeing all the different variations around our area.
-- ~too many hobbies, not enough free time.
