Needed a better way to keep my pocket items a bit more orderly, so I built this using curly maple and walnut scraps. Worked out perfectly for my needs. Thanks for looking.

Saw that on WoodSmith shop. That Maple lid has a lot of bling in the curlies. I like your iteration a lot better than what they did for the show.

Thank you for the kind words! I am a student of woodworking… lol

I did use the plans from WoodSmith/No 224. I have been waiting for a project like this to use that piece of Curly Maple which turned out nicley. I added the maple pins to add a bit more strength to the butt points and it added a tiny bit of flair to the overall look. I’m happy with this project. Even my wife keeps looking at it and telling me she likes it; now that’s a compliment!
