As many of you know, I enjoy designing and making boxes that have an organic or nature inspired aspect to their shape. This box is no exception and is the first in a series of boxes based on the phases of the moon. The handcrafted box has a lift off cover. The cover is made from African zebrawood which has a unique wavy interlocked grain pattern. The base is black walnut and is sourced from the Adirondack Region of New York state. The Half Moon box measures approximately 5”L x 2.5”W x 3”H. Finished with hand rubbed oil and wax.

Cool box Rog. Glad to see you still kickin’ it. Another week or so of golf season and I’ll be hitting the shop once again.
