Hey all!! I know it’s been a long time! I’ve been crazy busy with work and adjusting to life with a second little one! She is 7 months now and I’m finally sleeping enough to remember to post some of my projects!

Anyways this is two end tables I made for a co worker from a tree I cut down when I built my shop. The center was rotted out. Use epoxy and soap pigment to fill the center then sealed and finished it with epoxy. This was the first epoxy work I’ve done so I was pretty happy with the results.

Pretty cool Matt.
I really like the size and the epoxy center. Nice to have a project directly tied to building your shop. That makes it even more special.

Did you buff polish it when done or is it the rare cured finish?

Thanks guys it was a cool project and a learning experience.

No buffing. Just poured and let it cure!

I really want to try something like that on a very small scale to get some experience.

Have your say...
