How many humidors can you make from a half sheet of plywood? I have no idea. I’m pretty sure with proper cut planning you could get five. I was on my way to getting four, but hit a foul ball that I don’t like to think about when cutting top of the fourth box of on the table saw. It didn’t get veneered or lined and instead holds sandpaper now.

These three aren’t without their problems, but they turned out respectable enough, and importantly, for all their flaws, are airtight. These were given away to a few friends. Its rare that you’ll get complaints or criticism about your work from someone who is getting it for free. If a recipient of your free handiwork does complain about its quality, its probably best for everyone to stop giving them things.

Anyway, these were fun projects to make and were one of the earlier projects I did when I first started to get into this hobby more seriously.

All boxes made from veneered baltic birch plywood, lined with Spanish cedar, and have hardwood banding. The cherry humidor also has inlaid veneer banding. It wasp remade banding, not of my own creation.
