Project Information

Just finished my Lazy Days porch swing. Earlier I posted pictures of my "Grandpa and Grandma" Adirondack chairs and bench. This swing compliments those very nicely.
I used Cedar for this project, its my favorite outdoor wood to use. The finish is Penofin Premium transparent ceda. To prepare the the finish i first washed to wood with Penofin "Brightener" to get rid of cedars abundant pitch. Helps the wood maintain it true color much much longer.
All the slates hand sanded on all four sides and edges eased as well. I pre-drilled and countersunk all the mounting hole then plugged. I discovered it is much more economical to cut my own plugs earlier on.
Hope you like love to hear from all!!!

Very nice! Very similar to one I made-so much so that I did a little double-take when I saw this on the daily top 3. Well done!
