Just finished another wine-barrel stool. Made from the staves of a wine barrel. The wood is ‘white oak’, and this material is fabulous to work with.

This one is 26” tall, and has leather on the seat.
It also swivels, and has a footrest made from a barrel hoop.

As you can imagine, it’s REALLY sturdy and will last a generation or two, God willing.

Now I need some more barrels. I’ve got a few more projects in mind.

Till then, thanks for checking out my work :-)

Thanks, Pottz. I appreciate your comments.
It’s true that I have taken a lot of time on each project, much more time that I could ever expect a decent financial return from. BUT, with each project I am learning new ways of making the chairs and stools, and I find that exciting and rewarding.
While I await a fresh supply of barrels, I am planning a few more projects. Will post them as they are completed.

Wow, you are really going to town on these wine barrel projects. Very nicely done!
