This Table was built in the 1920’s and has been in my wife’s family for decades. We inherited the table when we moved into our 1st house and have been holding on to it ever since. We recently moved again, and I had forgotten about the leg with the broken support (which happened well before we received it), so I decided to fix it. I used my drill press and a 3/8×1” router bit to ensure a close to perfect match.

Welcome to LumberJocks. A nice repair… though admittedly I can’t see what was broken on the original.

The original table had 3 pieces stacked and glued together to make the brace for the legs however at some point the original brackets broke and a former owner made a repair with 2 tiny blocks just enough to hold the washer in place. Those broke off, so I rebuilt the proper stack plate, while still trying to maintain the originality of the table.
