I just finished my third phase to our bedroom furniture ensemble, twin night stands. The night stands are made from Red Oak, Red Oak plywood and the drawers are made of Poplar. The feet are layered red oak to the size needed for the project and then turned them down. I used screwed for the bottom piece and glue for the rest. I applied 3 coats of Minwax Urethane Spar Varnish and sanded between each coat. Of course, my shop helper had to photo bomb my project.

Here are the other phases of the bedroom project that I have finished thus far.

Dresser

Bed Frame

I have one more project to go and hopefully I’ll be finished.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks Guys, Mark and Bob. Thanks Eliott, I’m not a wood turner by trade but, I like to turn for myself. They did turn out well. Thanks again.

I like ‘em! Esp. the rounded corners on the side table tops. I hate sharp cornered furniture that nips at your sides and shins.

Nice work. Much to be proud of.
