So I managed to do it 5 nights in a row. I may actually go for 7 depending on how work goes tomorrow and the day goes Sunday. But that is for tomorrow.

Today’s offering is fire, well a fire lighter at least These are the Survival Pens from WC, Ferro Rod and Striker (clip) and a Grass Breaker which can also make a decent self defense item in a pinch. Again used up some smaller bits and made the laminates. Ambrosia Maple with Padauk and Walnut wit Padauk.

Thanks for looking. I have a crazy time at work coming up and I am going to challenge myself to get in the shop one night a week at the minimum. Maybe I’ll start a blog about it and not waste the space on the project page, we’ll see.

Nice work getting some project time every evening, even when life is crazy. And then finding time to post about it too.

You have been a busy fellow lately! I applaud your dedication despite all the other demands of life!
Beautiful work – as usual! I had no idea of all the pen variations available to pen-makers today!

Congrats on your 5 day consecutive wood working spree. Very nice work. Interesting fire lighter.

Thanks All,
I am working to get this in now while I can. Work gets way crazy near the end of the month as I will start to install our Holiday light show which takes 3 months to do. To top it off just had an employee leave with a hiring freeze in place. So my hope is a little bit of preplanned shop time each week will keep me sane.

Mike, That is one of the things I like about doing pens and small kits, so many options out there.
