It’s been about 2 years since my fathers passing and have wanted to get this project completed. With plenty of time on my hands I knocked it out. This is to preserve his military service in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Miss you dad!

It must be a very special feeling to have that hanging on your wall…....both as a remembrance of your father and to honor his service. And I must say a very attractive display as well.
Well done!

As a fellow Air Force veteran I can say that is very nicely done and he would be proud of such a nice tribute

Not sure how I missed this project before- but very well done.

My dad was career AF (Korea & Vietnam) & this should motivate me to frame some of his AF items.

Sorry for the late reply…..but thanks for posting.

My dad passed away in February, and I wanted to do something special for him. I decided that a shadow box would be a great way to remember the time we had together. My dad was a bit of an inventor at heart, so his life always kept us on our toes. He loved sharing his essay service inventions with me and my siblings when we were younger, but he also knew how much we enjoyed eating! In the shadow box project, you will learn about some of my favorite memories with my dad while creating your own memory-filled piece of art.

Have your say...
