Okay, I am trying to challenge myself. I posted a project last night of the pen and pencil I made. I have a number of projects that I need to work on and a few I just want to work on so this week I am going to challenge myself to complete something that is post worthy each night. Just need the motivation after a long day at work.
That being said completed these two phone stands this evening. They are a fun quick little kit from PS and I have about a dozen of them over the past few years. These are for my stock, a number of the other projects are already sold.

Thanks for looking and hopefully there will be more tomorrow night.

Taking nothing away from the neat job you did and that the rubber tips are great for fat fingered ducks, but who would use the “stand” feature, as I always see fingers and thumbs pawing away at the keyboard at blurring speeds.

Putting a phone on a static stand would freak most people out through social distancing from their phones… even during recharging.

Very nice Chris. I’ve eyed those a few times but never bought any. I use a phone stand at work daily but it’s just a bent paper clip :-( Next time I place an order, I think I’ll upgrade :-)

I think these have a use for people who need to be hands free. For instance, my wife needs one of these in the kitchen when going through a recipe online, and has her hands all messed with lord knows what. You don’t want to be touching your phone or tablet with egg on your hands.

In a woodworking environment, I have used makeshift stands when trying to watch videos on several builds (not using power tools, just assemblies). A mechanic might use this when learning to tear apart or put something together and needs both hands.

Neat project.

Have your say...
