I have a ton of projects that I am starting on as shown in pic 2. But I played with a few glue ups as well while I was prepping everything and decided to make myself a new pen and pencil for work. Had both kits on hand and not spoken for, the color wood on the pencil is from my cut off container.

Nice! I need to find my glued up scraps… I had a five quart bucket full of scraps, and glued them up into a multicolored board before we moved, and I haven’t found that yet. Must be in one of the last few boxes… projects like that are always a nice surprise.

Nice pens. Before I came down with “Save Every Rusty Plane” I was really into pens. I may have to try making a pen sometime.

Nice pen/pencil… Just a shame you have so many “scraps”... and some tubed…

I’ve found it’s easier to grow more arms, to use more than 2 pens at once, than to find people prepared to pay for what it’s worth/cost.

Nice work Chris. Pens is something I will never do, so I like looking over those made by other craftsmen.

Thanks All.

Dave- I found that the outcome at as I turn it is always a fun surprise. Be cool to see what you can make with a large board of glues scraps.

LBD- IT si quite hard to find a buyer for a lot of the stuff I put out on the tables at the craft fairs. The good news is that just about everything in the 2nd pic is already spoken for. It does make it easier to turn them all when you know they will make some profit.
