My daughter and son-in-law wanted to build a corner cupboard for their dining room. So we set aside some time for them to come play with me in my shop. We had a blast being together, with them doing the bulk of the actual hands on work, and they will have something nice to take home if they can figure out a way to transport it to their home 2 hours south of here. Only problem now is that my wife kind of likes having it in our dining room and wants one like it.

I’m not quite sure what the problem is here.
Nice build, well done.

Great looking Corner Cupboard, working together is wonderful, being able to bong more closely, to work and learn together is priceless.

It’s got that classic style. Great job on the team effort!

Is that a single piece, or two pieces stacked?

Beautiful job. I remember building one in our old home for a room lined with knotty pine. We moved but took it with us. Very nice work.

Mike, That is beautiful!

At least you didn’t have to cut it in half to get it out of the shop- don’t ask :^)

Thanks Tony. I raised the grain prior to staining/painting then sanded 200 grit. The paint is Behr Premium Plus Nude semigloss enamel watered down and wiped immediately after application. The stain is General Finishes water based Antique Brown. Both were then covered with 4 coats of General Finishes High Performance Satin water based topcoat sprayed with HVLP. Sanded with 400 grit before final topcoat.
