Here’s a small G&G Jewelry box with proud finger joints I made for my wife a while ago. It’s intended to match the style of the dresser & rest of the bedroom set I made. The top slides open and shut. I thought this was a nice touch and better suited than a traditional top. The walnut is about the last of the wood I bought at an estate sale several years ago. Finished with Watco medium walnut finish.

Beautiful job, and I like the exposed finger joints. Very nice build and finish.
