This case is for the clock I built vertical styles in 1970 It has 6 -7 segment LED displays,—-Hours , Minutes and Seconds.

The case is Birdseye maple and walnut and the box is doweled and glued together. The base is one piece of solid walnut.

It is 4 1/4” x 5 1/4” x 7” high and finished with Danish oil and satin lacquer.

Cheers, Jim

Another nice case Jim. Given the vintage, I’d like to see one with a silver-grey face and a couple of old 8mm film reels attached, you could make a mini-univac 8^)

Cool! Love the electronics pictures!

When I built mine, I had m old humongous cap. When the power goes out, the clock will run for about 2 minutes before it shuts down.

Hah! I wish they would do that for everything with a built in clock. The power here frequently blips for a nano second and by the time I finish resetting everything, it happens again 8^/

Thank you all for the nice comments .i have to work on something these days and the clocks have been laying around for years. I have a couple old wood telephones that might be next. With the virus, all shows have been cancelled so it is of no use to make any more stock for them.

Cheers, Jim
