I have had several dressers in my time but never had one that was very solid. I designed this one to last. I know why they call it a mule chest. – It takes a mule to move it. There are two chests here. The first one I built with bifold doors that open to a 20” TV. Well, you can no longer buy a 20” TV. The replacement TV now sets on top of the chest. The second one was designed with drawers in that spot. My fishing friend got that as a wedding gift. All the drawers are 1/2 baltic birch plywood with dovetail jointary. The drawer fronts are sequenced from a single board so the grain flows across the entire front.

I have a 18” TV in my RV. Do you want to buy it? :)

Love your projects and I knew when you started showing your cars that there was a seasoned wood worker behind those projects.
I too have built a cabinet for a tv and another for a giant microwave but have to find other uses as the tv and microwave styles have changed as technology shrinks our gadgets. LOL.

Very nice looking chest, not big enough for a TV but who really cares as it is still a very good looking Muel chestI

Don’t tell anyone, I still have a 21” CRT television in another room.
