Every grandfather wants to provide a heirloom keepsake for his granddaughter. So, I got on a cradle kick. I made eight. Not that we were expecting that many grandkids. I thought I could sell some of them. I just had a lot of different woods that I wanted to try. I made one from Brazilian cherry, four black walnut, two red oak and one myrtle. I found a place to get spinels for 65 cents each, so I got a bunch. I ended up selling two, gave one to a friend and one for my granddaughter. The other 4 are in my basement.

That is what grandpa’s are for, especially when they can build things.
Great job

You did a great job. I’m sure your Grands will appreciate your craftsmanship!
