When my son graduated from the University of Idaho and moved to California he requested I make him some furniture for his apartment. One of the items he wanted was a desk. He gave me a list of things he wanted so this is what we came up with. It has three drawers, one for files, one medium sized and one with a sliding tray for pens and pencils. I also included a cutting board and a keyboard tray. The wood I used is red oak with baltic birch drawers. The pulls are purple heart. The desk is unfinished as he wanted to do that himself.

My son works for a landscape architect firm, so when they sent all their employees home to work, he was so glad to have that desk.
