I recently helped a friend remodel her kitchen. Storage was limited so we came up with this solution. It is easy to access and keeps everything organized. It is made from red oak to match the other kitchen cabinets. The top has beveled glass windows where she can store her fine china and stemware. There is adequate space to hold cook books and recipes, also a wine rack and glasses. Below is room for larger cooking pots and deep fryers. There is even a pull out garbage container that is in easy reach of the sink.

Nice match to kitchen cabinets, and it also accents the kitchen. Very useful piece of furniture. Well done

That is a very well thought out and practical addition to the kitchen. Was it built in two pieces and assembled on site? And is it free standing or anchored to the wall?

This is one piece as you can see it almost completed setting in my shop. the only task remaining was attaching the doors. That may have been done on site. If I remember correctly, we did anchor it to the wall for safety reasons.
