It took me a few years to get to this project, and it took me a few months to finish it once I actually started. But I finally added a small extension to my table saw. This is just phase 1 as I want to add a folding section as well, but even this 6” extension provides a lot of benefit for cutting longer pieces.

Hi Brain nice start to full table extension. I have a small shop and had a real bad need for an extension table some years ago and devised the one below so I can flip it up quickly and have a support system that is easy to engage and disengage so I came up with this one:


I have the round part of the support split in half and when I put them together, the piece of PVC slides over them to hold the connection. It works really slick. There is an adjustment screw to get it at the right height, too.
