I was tired of looking at the boring laundry rack. It was the typical white aluminum rod on white aluminum brackets. I got to work on sketchup and this is what I came up with. First attempt at cutting bridle joints and miter joints by hand.

1. White oak
2. Mitered bridle joint on the corner
3. mortise tenons for the brace
4. shop made white oak rod
5. General finishes carbon grey gel stain and general finishes high performance topcoat

That’s a really impressive upgrade from white aluminum! Well done!
