After years of talking and thinking about it, I finally got motivated and built and installed new tops. Finish for now is just saturated with mineral oil. Eventually I’ll probably put a hard coat on it. I guess now I’ll be forced to proceed with new cabinet doors and finish on my ugly and outdated cabinets.

I’m usually not a big fan of wooden counter tops but that walnut sure does make a beautiful one. Congratulations. You wife better be happy, just don’t let her brag to loud it’ll make the rest of us look bad

Beautiful counters. The difference in the colors of the wood really make it stand out. Excellent job !!! Mel
