I came across this piece of black walnut while I was cleaning up my workshop. The first image of the walnut reminded me of a mountain scene. I decided to use the walnut to make a cutting board for one of my daughters that lives in Boulder, Colorado. The second image is the other side of the same cutting board. The two thin black strips are Peruvian walnut.
Thanks for looking.
Roger

Kind of like that design, sorta a frame for some beautiful wood.

A very simple piece, that makes a loud bang. Nice use of wood there.
